Modi government’s ambitious project of having make in India semiconductor chips in India is started crawling. Recently, state sponsored Semicon India conference attracted researchers and industrialists from all of the world. Couple of MoUs were signed. One such MoU signed with California based semiconductor equipment manufacturer giant resulted in the action. Applied Materials recently purchased 10 acre land with 2.6 lacs square feet built up area in Banglore worth of ₹338 Crore.
