Common University Entrance Test

Introduction: Common University Entrance Test (CUET) earlier known as Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an entrance examination for UG programmes offered by Central Universities. It’s initially launched in 2021 by the name of Central University Common Entrance Test. However, much response was not received in its maiden launch. CUET was revamped and made compulsory to all Central Universities to adopt as per NEP 2020 by University Grant Commission (UGC). CUET for admission to different programmes of the participating Central Universities, will provide a single window opportunity to the students to seek admission in these participating Universities / Institute(s) across the country.

Testing Agency: It’s an annual examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI) has established NTA as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions. CUET is one of the several tests conducted by NTA

Guidelines: Candidates must practice NTA CUET sample papers 2022 after the completion of the whole syllabus. To practice for CUET 2022, candidates should know the pattern of examination, total number of questions, difficulty level, total topics, and with the help of CUET 2022 sample papers candidates can get an exact overview of the examination. Sample papers serve as an additional aid to understand the CUET syllabus. Aspiring candidates can practice a variety of questions by solving multiple CUET 2022 sample papers.

Exam Pattern: All Question Papers are MCQ based organized into different parts. As per the latest CUET updates 2022, the CUET entrance test had four sections:
Section IA – 13 Languages
Section IB – 19 Languages
Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects
Section III – General Test
